This one is my favorite. It's called Lola. In bright light it has a purple tinge. Doesn't it look just like a flower? This is actually it's foliage, and it makes tall stalks in the spring that bloom.
These are stone faces, and also one of my favorites. They hate a lot of water, and each year they make a little stone face in the center and it comes out in the spring. In the fall they make flowers like the one in the picture.
These are called baby toes. This is the purple version. These are so neat, but need a lot of light. They don't live forever, but their texture and shape are so unique it's worth having them for only 5 years.
This is called tiger jaw. This is also one of my favorites. It blooms in the spring also with yellow daisy flowers. My mom and I loved this plant so much that we found one in pink.My blogging has taken a back burner to my new hobby. Dustin would call it my new obsession, but I just think it's fun. My mom and I have been collecting succulents. I'm sure most of you are saying what the heck are succulents, because I was too about 4 months ago. Here are a few pictures, but be careful because the succulent bug bites!!! LOL If you want to look at more of these cool plants go to www.cactuscollection.com and click on plant library and you can see all these really neat plants that I've just fallen in love with.
