Fort McCammon

I feel like I'm a slacker in the creativity department. Dustin is always coming up with cool activities to entertain Logan. They go on pirate treasure hunts at night with flashlights, build obstacle course for cars and trains, and one night he just made this fort out of Logan's bed. He loved playing flashlights and pretending that crocodiles couldn't get him because he was in the fort. I guess that's why they say it is so important for a child to have two parents. Dustin picks up in the areas where I'm lacking!!!

Favorite Color.......

Logan has an obsession with green. Everything from what he wears, eats, and chooses to play with with needs to have an element of green. If you ask him what type of something his wants, his reply is always, "A GREEN one". One of our favorite activities is to cook together. Lately we've been making a lot of green pancakes. Not only is he so excited because they are green, but also because they are one of his favorite things to eat!!!

Something SWEET for my sweetheart!!

I feel so blessed to have a wonderful man in my life. He's hard working, loving, and very dedicated to his family. I love you D!!! Happy Valentine's Day!!!
I got the bouquet idea from my friend Teryn, and I just wouldn't feel right posting this without giving her the credit. She's always been one of the most creative people I know!!

HaRd At WoRk

When I clean the house there is not only the challenge of getting it clean, but also the challenge of letting Logan help where he can while still getting it done! He loves to vacuum, but unfortunately when he tries the actual vacuuming part is raised high in the air. He usually pushes it around the house for 15 minutes and then when he's tired I get my turn. He is great at dusting, and he loves it. I can let him loose on the duster, and the whole house will be thoroughly dust free. I love my little guy and his desire to help mom do everything.

Logan got tools for Christmas from Santa, and of course they've been a hit in our house (literally). We've really have to stress how the hammer only goes on his tool bench, and the screw driver should not be dug into the carpet and doors. One day while I was in the kitchen cooking Logan drags in his car and props it on its back tires. Not wanting to disturb his intense working face I just watched. A few minutes later he comes walking in with his tool box. He dumps the contents on the floor and goes to work on his car. I LOVE LOVE LOVE when he comes up with creative ways to play by himself!!
