Guess What?!?!?

We're moving to BOSTON in August!!! We're totally stoked that Dustin got into dental school at Tufts University, and that we finally know where our future is headed. It's been a long time coming, but we know that it will have been worth the wait. I'm so proud of Dustin that he didn't give up on his dream even though it was hard to achieve. I've never been to Boston, but I've heard it's a great place to live, and Dustin really liked it when he went to his interview. I'm excited to see all the historical sites, and there are a lot of free museums, parks, and various other types of entertainment for Logan and me. Anyways so that's our latest exciting news.

Here's my update Maegan =)

OK so what's up with the weather here in good ole east Texas!?!?!? We had a cold snap, hence the pictures, but then all the sudden we are having 80 degree weather. Don't get me wrong I'd much rather have comfortable weather than the bitter cold in Utah, but I also enjoy a little winter. So I guess all I can say is the weather here is crazy, and dressing accordingly is tricky tricky.

This is the picture of Logan's NEW haircut that happened like 3 weeks ago. He looks like a little boy now instead of a baby, so that's why I'm growing it back out!!

Here are a few funny and crazy things that usually happen throughout our day:

Waking up to Logan talking at the top of his lunges "Momma, Momma", and if I don't answer "Daddy, Daddy".

Making my bed, and Logan LOVES to help. He picks all the throw pillows up off the floor and puts them on the bed. He really feels this is a huge accomplishment because they are quite heavy for him (to the point that he usually grunts when he picks up the big ones), so when he gets done he usually claps for himself.

Most days after his long nap we go outside and play. He's the happiest child ever if he can just be outside. He loves the cows and runs to them saying "moo-moo." So we often go to the barn and help my dad feed them.

The other day we were walking across the street to go fishing with daddy, and when we got to the pasture there were tons of cow patties. Logan dodged them for awhile pointing at each one saying his new favorite word "Nat-E" (nasty), but then there were too many so he made me pick him up. When we were little we would pick the dry ones and throw them like Frisbees at each other, but I just don't see him ever doing that. (I know your thinking that is nasty, but it's only dried grass, and I'm positive our mom made us wash our hands)

Yesterday we went to eat at Olive Garden where Logan chucked his crayon at this elderly lady and hit her in the shoulder. I was on the phone so my mom hopped up really quick to apologize. The little lady was really sweet and said "Oh! I thought I felt something but I didn't even know what it was." SHEW WWW....I always feel awful and just want to shrink in my chair, but what can I do he loves to play ball with everything. When I tell him he's being naughty he just repeats me (Na-T) and laughs.

Little boys are such handfuls, but I wouldn't trade it for the world!!!

Lunch Convo

Logan and I were driving to Wal-Mart and this was our conversation about lunch:
Mom: Logan do you want some chicken for lunch?
Logan: Chi-ken??
Mom: Yea, do you want some chicken for lunch?
Logan: NO!!
Mom: Well what do you want for lunch then?
Logan: See-ral (cereal)

Cereal is his new favorite word, and his favorite request to eat. The other day he pulled me into the kitchen and was saying see-ral, see-ral, which I was mistaking for see, see because it was his first time to use that word. Anyways he pulled me to the cupboard, pointing and continually repeating see-ral. So I opened the cabinet, picked him up to point at what he wanted, and he reached to the back of the cabinet and grabbed the Honey Bunches of Oats. I thought, well maybe he's just grabbing something because he's done that before, but no, he sat in his chair and ate 3 bowels of see-ral. Guess he was hungry!!! He amazes me everyday how many words he can say, and if I say "Logan can you say _____" he will try his hardest to repeat the word I said. I just love this stage! Now if he can just conquour nursery and not throwing toys during sacrament meeting.
