This is Christmas in a nutshell. My cousin OJ came on Christmas Eve, and then my brother and his family came the day after Christmas. We had a blast just being together as a family, and we enjoyed seeing the old year come to a close and celebrating the new year as it came in.

My little nieces and nephews were playing in the tree out front, and my dad made them a cute swing to play with. I told them about how when we were little girls (my sister and I) we used to make a pulley system with a bucket to pull our barbies in the tree to play like they were lost in the jungle. The next afternoon they made a pulley system, a swing, and played music in the tree. They had a blast. The men made picture frames out of barn wood from my great great grandpa's barn. It was really neat and they turned out great. The picture of Logan sleeping is of him and his new blanket his aunt Tiffany made him. He loves it and sleeps with it every night.

Ok so my cousin gave Logan the cutest presents ever, but she's always finding just the right gifts. See the cute little football boxers? Well he loves them. She also gave him that cute little football player bank, and the pictures are of my dad giving him money to put in his bank. He loved it, and emptied Papaw's pocket at the same time. This year Logan has been obsessed with balls, so for Christmas he got sports that involved balls. The pictures above are of Dustin teaching his son how to play sports. You'd be suprised how well he makes contact with the ball. He launches his golf ball across the room when he tees off. Too cute!

Here are pictures of Christmas day. Rebecca got a "bagel" for Christmas from Santa and was totally excited. They wrote their letter to him asking for a bagel, but what they really ment was beagle. Anyways there is a picture somwhere of Logan opening a present and I added that because when he would tear off a piece of paper he would hand it to you and say "tank you". There is also a picture of the infamous ginger bread men, my mom crying over a "special gift" (we try each year to get this reaction out of her from a homemade gift from the family), and Logan's happy face when he saw the "bally" Santa brought him with the b-ball hoop. We had a great time this year, and hope to have manymany more wonderful Christmases with family and friends.
